Not great beginnings.

Although things went ok in the end, it was not easy to send the books to you. We arranged a collection that never happened, you sent many emails asking why we were not sending the books, and despite replying to said emails with an explanation no one took any notice. Finally we were able to print a label and arrange for Evie to collect but when the man came he said it the label! Was incorrect! luckily he was still able to take the box, and what a relief when you sent confirmation that they had arrived. I am now getting some more books ready to send.

Code???

The parcel was for my grandson, but he wanted it delivered to me.The driver wouldn’t deliver the parcel without the code so I checked that my grandson hadn’t sent one, but there was no reply, so I went to tell the driver but he had gone!10mins later my grandson said he had just been sent the code, but it was too late. I understand that it will be delivered tomorrow. I hope I get the code before it comes.

Shopping made easy

As I am unable to go to the shop to buy my Items, I am grateful for online shopping. Buying from Next Online is excellent, quick easy and fast delivery. Everything is packaged well. I would certainly recommend Next for people like me.

The service has always been very good.

Good service. Parcels are always delivered on time. Polite staff. Our regular delivery man who went above and beyond for customers seems to have been replaced, but so far the new people seem ok. I hope Robert is ok.

A super find.

I recently bought some meat from Duke's Hill and cooked the 1kg piece of beef for Sunday lunch. I followed the cooking instructions to the letter as I do tend to overcook beef, but I didn't need to worry because the meat was the best my family had tasted in a long time. It carved beautifully and tasted wonderful, and I will be ordering it again. I also ordered some oxtail, and am looking forward to making a stew, which will go down well with this very cold weather.

A fantastic little gadget.

I bought this marker for my Great grandaughter to mark her clothes for starting school. Her mum has said it's a godsend and saved her so much time. It washes well, with no fading. She is very pleased, and when it's time for her little boy starts school I shall buy another for him.

Some months are better than others, and lately, the articles are not really me. I shall be 77yrs old in May, and there are very few things I can relate to. I have paid for another year's subscription, but I think it will be my last year. I should have said the magazine in question is Good Housekeeping.
