Fibre to the Property. Jurassic Fibre at its best.
Marcus called. Set up the account. A date for installation was made. On that day connection was made. 450Mbps down and 100Mbps up.
Brilliant.
Had a small problem with 2.4Ghz for security cameras. Called office. Split the system. All good.
But most important. When you call the office you speak to a local person, quickly and not a BOT and then a non English person in another part of the world and difficult to understand.

I saw the Temu website and thought prices were to good to be true. An amazing range of products. Some I have seen on web sites double and more on price.
So ordered a bunch of items. Order confirmed. Delivery exactly as confirmed. Arrived on time.

4 x 18650 Batteries 40g. Purchased arrived 28g each. Batteries under 40g are always poor quality. All fake 18650’s. around 28g are poor quality. I bought these as advertised as 40g as good value. But not so.
I needed these for a security camera. Not powerful enough for several weeks. Only good for flashlights.

Today I tried to book an appointment to view a property. Called McCarthy and Stone. Many times no connection as busy. Then got through to a voice. Left my number for a callback. No callback several hours later. In the meantime came across Boomin where I could book an appointment to view a property. So booked a date. Having given every bit of information about myself some team would call back. Not happened. No call back!
So, the appointment is made with Boomin. Appointment is written down but says - to be confirmed. The phone number on the Boomin page takes me to a number which I call. It’s McCarthy and Stone! Again I call several times and eventually get a lady who has to take down all and every detail about me before she can connect me to? Then s says the xyz special team will contact me. I explain all it is that I made a booking with Boomin but it needs to be confirmed. She has never heard of Boomin. So I explained that I’d looked on trust pilot and noted that many people made appointments went to properties and nobody was there. So for me I need to have the appointment confirmed because I don’t want to drive many miles, a long way and then find nobody knows about the appointment.
The number of the flat is not even mentioned on the booking.
It beggars belief!

Terrible service
Delivery did not take place. So you naturally like to call support to perhaps find out where the parcel is located. So after finding a phone number to call, I called and get Holly, a stupid online computed generated voice. This voice confirms after giving details of the delivery tracking that it will be delivered between 2pm and 4pm. That was hours ago!.
Would I give a survey. Ok I am given a site to do a survey. Not available.
How do these people stay in business!?

I would wager Lidl Plus will fail. Lidl m should make it more like other stores. Simple scan at check out.
Not having to confirm coupons if things you don’t need.
My battery was down at checkout. £80 odd. Not able to get receipt scanned later as in other stores.
A failed system Lidl. But I will still shop at Lidl...

No refund after 7 MONTHS!!
Please read my reviews on this terrible company Solarplicity
It is now June 4th 2019. My account closed November 2018. Our house was empty for a long period but we continued to pay the direct debit. In the end we were owed over £500. Despite promises to get it sorted, no action, no refund.
Hard to believe.
Will try to get hold of them in South Africa, yes South Africa! if no action will contact some newspapers to see if they can sort it.

Can you believe that Solarplicity is still in business. Goodness knows how many people are owed money by Solarplicity.
How can it be possible, as you may see below, replies from various support staff in Accounts Absolutely not one of the people I have spoken to or have replied have kept their word. It beggars belief!
Again I ask. How can this company be in business. Probably because they are is South Africa and they think they can get away with fobbing of customers.
Finally a message to Courtney in Accounts. You were the one person in support I believed and you promised to call me and promised to get it sorted!!

Solarplicity are thieves
Solarplicity are thieves. To the tune of £530!!!!!!!
So here we are Friday 22nd March 2019. Account closed November 2018. Each time I contact Solarplicity I get the same story and my complaint has been escalated.
All sweetness and like. Raise your hope but nothing is done.
This company should not be in business.

Well Well Courtney!!! NO REFUND........
Well Well Courtney. Where is my £530.? Charming as your were on the 4th of March 2019 when you promised to get my refund paid. Actually you said before 15 Days as it had been escalated before my call. Solarplicity has a big backlog! May I ask, how long it would take to repay all the other customers that are waiting for a refund after accounts have closed ???. Bearing in mind the account was closed in November 18.
I was pleased to see the reply from Eileen confirming that Courtney had escalated my case. Seems the ESCALATION has not worked! But of course, it has been escalated before.
Before retirement I was in business. This would / could not have happened in my day. I really don't know how this company is surviving!
Perhaps somebody in the finance department in SOUTH AFRICA can make a decision before I take the matter to the national newspapers.

No refund of £530. Account closed in November 1918 !
So on my last review of Solarplicity on the 9th February 1919. I was promised my refund of £530 would be done within 15 days. It is now 4th March. No REFUND!!!
Today i again spoke to Customer Support. After some explanation and reasons why there is a delay I am now promised by a charming young lady by the name of Courtney that my payment will be made within the next 15 days. I have been hearing this since November when the account was closed.
I really wonder why or how this company is still trading. You can only speak to Customer Support in Durban South Africa
Beggars belief! So Courtney, lets see what you are made of.

Solarplicity is not a good company to…
Solarplicity is not a good company to deal with. Beware, if you have a refund due. My previous property was empty for more than a year. So credit built up to over £500. New owners moved in, in Oct 18. Now February 9th. Keep sending messages to say there is a delay in the refund service. Next thing they will probably go bust. Why else would the hold not my money?. All support is in South Africa and not much help at all. Just fob you off.

Spoke to Chris (customer Support) this morning regarding my account which is in credit from my previous property. He is going to check but not able to say how long it will take. Why?
Because on the 24th Dec the accounts department promised it would be done within 10 working days. Well it is now 25th January. Chris decided he could not guarantee.

What a great utility company South West…
What a great utility company South West Water is.
We had a leak that i reported at 1.30am on a Thursday morning. Spoke again early morning.
Around 10.30 on the Friday morning Tom arrived. In a short time he found the leak deep in the road. He then arranged for a civil engineering company to dig up the road. Mid afternoon all finished. The next days the hole was filled and tarmac laid.
The Mains Stopcock would function correctly so Tom changed it.
Today 27th March South West Water rang to say we have been credited with the huge amount of water lost.
Thank you South West Water for your excellent service.
