Ratings change to the negative with no good reason

Can someone tell me why the rating is affected when all bills are paid on time? The ratings move when just small amounts of money are borrowed. I largely disagree with this if all bills are paid and up to date.
It’s encouraged by the business world to borrow money, then the credit companies punish you for borrowing. What is the story with this set up?

Can never get through I updated my contact information but there still asking for an email I don’t own and a phone number I never had it’s no wonder there is so much fraud on my account and you try to verify the information is false they won’t follow the law they just side with the business cause they pay for access there as crooked as the fraudulent businesses on my account follow the law.

This company is HORRIBLE

(Update 2/3/2026): Experian has used designations meant to extend for meaningful investigation on CFPB complaints to instead avoid a deadline for response. This is a pattern of misconduct and a general disrespect for the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

This company is terrible. Experian continues to furnish materially false data that another major CRA (TransUnion) has already deleted. During CFPB proceedings, Experian made materially false representations, claiming the account was removed when, in reality, the creditor changed names mid-dispute, creating the illusion of removal while the tradeline remained active.
They also marked several related CFPB reports as "victim of fraud" but did not make any actions against the fraudulent reporting.
This is not a clerical error, it is misleading dispute handling, and they know it.
As a licensed life insurance agent, I am trained in fiduciary duty, regulatory compliance, and good-faith consumer handling. Experian’s conduct here reflects systemic failures in investigation, transparency, and accuracy, and appears designed to rely on automation rather than lawful reinvestigation.
Consumers should be *extremely* cautious relying on Experian to protect their credit files.
