if I could give them a zero I would

if I could give them a zero I would. They are horrible and have just made my life so miserable., And I had a stroke so I have a hard time already with life. There’s so many things I don’t even know where to begin. They did not protect my account like they promised and I had hackers going into my checking account and pretending they were me and requesting credits on my stuff. When I realize it happened I called them told him I wasn’t the one that did this. That’s when they told me that they were going into my account and doing this. So my error was listening to them because they told me that they would make my account 10 times harder to get in so I didn’t have to open a new bank account. Well a few months later these idiots went into my account and they requested a credit for $2000 which was my rent for the month before. How they didn’t catch this I don’t know why would I do this no question no nothing. I called them when I realized that it had happened, because I got a call from my rental office telling me that I had requested a credit. So first they put the money back in my account then they take it out my account was so messed up I had about I was like -1900 in my account. So I couldn’t even get anyone in the fraud department to explain how they were able to do this if you got if they told me my account was gonna be protected. It wasn’t and they couldn’t answer. Not only that but when this all happened, I got no call from the fraud department. They asked me no questions about it . I could’ve given them the name of the company that did it, I had phone #s. I had all this information and they didn’t even try to investigate what happened. So now let’s go 2 months later. I went to CVS and I had to take an Uber, to buy my son a late Christmas present. It was an apple Apple Card. As soon as I bought it it didn’t go through because they flagged it. So I called them I told him as me that did it. When again to try to buy it still couldn’t. Then I tried to get an Uber back to my place and I couldn’t even get I could do nothing. They literally froze my account so I couldn’t do anything I was stuck in CVS for about two hours. I finally had to have my son come and get me. so now they want to overprotect my account they couldn’t protect me what I needed protection but now everything I do is questioned. So now I’m gonna talk about what happened to me yesterday. I got locked out of my iPhone and I had to lose all my information but I got it back and so for like two days I had no idea what was going on with my bank account. I also will mention that I was laid on paying a phone bill so they turned my phone off. So I tried to get in and of course I had to verify myself. My options were send to my number to my phone, had them call me or scan my ID. Well because my phone had been turned off I couldn’t send a message through my phone, I couldn’t have them call me, so I scanned my ID. Now help me make sense of this because then asked me for another form of ID. I’m not sure why did they think somebody stole my ID? To me that’s the best way to know it’s me. So when nothing worked I called them thinking they could help me. Well of course they couldn’t I’m locked out on my account, and there was nothing they could do. So I asked to speak to a manager. I was on the phone for over an hour, and never got a hold of a manager. I cannot wait to move my money to somewhere else, and let me just also mention that I have been with this bank for over 10 years. Worst bank ever. I don’t know if they read these. Most likely they don’t.

DESTROYED ME Never been late never max my card they cut limit therefore maxing me out destroying my credit

I have multiple credit cards with multiple companies I had a high limit with one of my Chase credit cards never been late always pay on time did not go over 50% because you take a hard hit on your card when you max it out so I have a high limit and I was keeping my ratio good I had a high credit score. My lower limit Chase card I pay off in full every month my higher limit I just make a payment or multiple payments per month. Chase decides to slash my credit limit in half and leave m me maxed out for no reason whatsoever destroying my credit score. I literally want to stop paying them and tell them to shove I am so upset STAY AWAY

Not off to a good start

I decided to open up a checking and savings account with Chase since they offered me a $900 bonus offer via a mailer. The contingencies were to setup direct deposits and transfer $15,000 and keep the money in the account for 90 days. I transferred my daily limit from my old bank to the new Chase savings account. I completed this on a Saturday. The next day, on a Sunday, when banks are closed, I receive a call from a 888 number. When I answered it was a lady in Indian asking me to verify my personal information about my wire transfer. This is the very first call I receive from you all upon opening a new account? Chase has someone call me and then ask me to verify NPI like social security number? Chase does not put a notification in the app telling me to call? Chase decides the best business practice is to have a 3rd world country worker call me on a Sunday a day after opening an account to verify information? Upon refusing to provide information my transfer request was denied leading me to have to take time to call back and go through the motions. This is actually unbelievable from what I expected to be a very good bank.

Chase's inability the handle my charge card charges which are large over $1000 even though they've been pre approved

Chase continues to deteriorate I'm a private client within their bank every time I go to use my credit card with them I'm doing large purchases it gets declined I approve it through the chase app send a text message it still continues to get declined invariably what happens is the company I'm putting the charge to after two times can no longer use this card I have to now go to a different card their fraud services are terrible
if you are out of the country and you have to speak with them many times my service on my phone is that the best depending on where I am in the world the entire situation even though I've approved it through my text messages it's not appropriate when I speak with their fraud services India whole situation is poor when I speak with the bank directly they say there's nothing they can do about it it's unacceptable for their high net worth clients or even for their normal clients it's inappropriate it doesn't service appropriately

Worst credit card company ever two large transactions were made on my Chase freedom unlimited credit card one for guitar center and one for Neiman Marcus and it's a nightmare getting this resolved I even sent them copies of a police report and contacted Guitar Center and Neiman Marcus and neither merchant can help me I do not want to ruin my credit I did not make the charges someone told me a kid stole my credit card after I had lost my credit card and made a transaction at guitar center and Neiman Marcus I would never spend that much money they should go by my spending habits where these transactions were unusual and on top of it they didn't call me to tell me and also nothing has showed up at my apartment at all I let the companies know that the items were stolen and both guitar center and Neiman Marcus said there's nothing they can do and I gotta deal with chase on this matter I'm so angry!

Chase let a company take my money over…

Chase let a company take my money over and over and over again then a month after the company had repeated my account they decided to take $165 me thinking it was settled and they already replaced what they refunded now over drafting my account! Right when I need to go grocery shopping and rent is due. This was a bank I trusted now they are going to continually over drafting me untill my money comes and I won’t have enough for rent!
Customer service was not helpful during any of this process! They hung up on me twice! They didn’t care when the company just kept taking payments they wernt owed when they owed me already. Chase did not let me know I owed them any money until they overdrafted my account!

you are the product, not the service

just find a credit union, this is not so much a bank as a mafia. that will profit off you, feel inconvenienced by you, and ignore you. they are your link to your money, and they look at customers like bugs. just pick a credit union.

Very very poor check processing procedures.....Hold the customer's $2,000 check for ten days without credit to the payee account while paying bank already cleared the fund next day after the check issued date.

Can anyone believe that Chase requires 10 days to get a $2,000 local check (Not out of state bank check) cleared? Bad check processing system or policy Chase has!!!

WORST BANK EVER

After today’s experience, I have lost trust in Chase Bank. Customer service was inconsistent, information conflicted, and there was no meaningful follow‑up. The absence of responses to legitimate reviews and complaints is concerning. I would not recommend Chase to anyone who values transparency and reliable access to their own money. Not even my worst enemy.

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrific bank in every way.

I'm a brand new customer and Chase. My card was stolen before I even got it in my mailbox. There was fraud on it and I called Chase about it. What did Chase do? Lock my account and ruin the balance transfer that was in place. Now the transfer won't happen and when I called customer service all they said was 'Oh well nothing we can do." This bank is a scam and any using them needs to take out their money immediately.

Dont Bank with Chase

Account frozen and under review. Customer services can't provide any information. No contact from the review team. Shambolic excuse for a bank. It's been 17 days now and nothing. Wish I had never opened an account with them.

We have been Chase credit card…

We have been Chase credit card customers since 2018. My wife called to book a reservation at the Bellagio hotel on Christmas Day. The site used was a booking site masquerading as the Bellagio hotel. The customer service agent, who was Indian, quoted $8,000 for two rooms, but they charged $18,600. We canceled within 20 minutes of making the reservation due to the incorrect charges over the phone. Chase did nothing to help and is complicit in the fraud. The service works great until you encounter fraud.

Assurance Given During Shutdown Was Not Honored

I proactively contacted Chase after being impacted by a government shutdown and was told I would not be charged late fees or reported late to the credit bureaus and could make payments once I was paid. That did not happen.

Chase charged late fees and reported missed payments anyway. I spent months trying to resolve this, including filing a formal complaint, and was ultimately told everything was “correct” despite being given different information originally.

Extremely disappointing experience and lack of accountability.

The worst experience ever

The worst experience ever, I called because I had to link my account to eBay and my phone number didn't accept text messages. My phone determined it was spam, and I actually agree.

The people you contact are not from America, they outsource through India or something. I get upset because they have such a thick accent and are impossible to understand yet they're in control of your bank account.

Just going to the bank is annoying because they do the same shit, they hire family members who speak the same foreign language. Then you show up at the bank and they speak whatever language in front of you.

It's not cool to speak a language you don't understand when they're in charge of your bank account. Then I go to a regular bank where they don't do that and they tell me that isn't the policy to speak non-English when discussing your account.

So what is it? Do I sit here and let them do what's against their policies or do I take my money out of the account to a place that will treat me like an American?

Long as they don't touch my money I can't complain, but these policies need to be enforced. I won't bank here very long.

Worst client experience anyone can ever…hav

Worst client experience anyone can ever have. These people have no clue what they are doing at their end. We are very disappointed as customers. Three months back, they charged back debited money from our account without any authorization from us or without notifying us about what was happening. That is when we changed with our primary method of notifications to emails So that if anything ever happens again, we get notified right away. But once again, something similar happened. And they did not notify us before debiting money from our account. We receive a letter in mail two months later.About what was happening. And then when we tried to call them, they said, there's nothing we can do the case is closed now. How can we take action about a charge back, If we are not even aware about what's happening. They are very very unprofessional, illogical and non understanding towards their customers. They shouldn't be allowed to work with businesses and mess their lives. Horrible!!

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. They are unreasonable and unprofessional. They charge back the valid transactions and doesn’t care to notify you. They keep on telling the same stupid things instead of giving a logical solution. Highly disappointed!!! They should not be allowed to work with business/companies as they don’t align with their rights and never own up to what they do.

Poorest !!!

These people are the worst professionally. They chargeback the valid transactions and no notifications, poorest customer service, it's like they got kids working there who don't even understand a real person talking. Bad bad bad !!! After going through the same situation 3 months back and after multiple times telling them to email us right away if anything, Instead of e-mailing about chargebacks they send the mail two months later and then they tell you the case is closed and there is nothing they can do. How do they even explain that. The cards present customer present and the payment made with consent of the customer were reversed without our knowledge. They are unreasonable, unprofessional and illogical. They should not be allowed to work with businesses ever if they cannot protect their interests and stand by them.

Chase has no on-line customer care

They recently changed their UI and now it is impossible to make out why monthly charges are what they are. They ALSO changed the on-line access so the ONLY WAY to make a dispute of a charge or fraud claim is by calling them.
I now have to seriously consider removing all my personal and business and employee cards from Chase and move to a more customer caring bank.
