Magic Johnson is putting Charlie Sheen on the spot -- saying now that he's gone public about having HIV, they should work TOGETHER to help educate people about it.
The NBA legend says, "I wish @CharlieSheen and his family the best. With the advancement in treatments and medicine he can fight this disease and live a long life."
Then he called Sheen to the mat -- "In @CharlieSheen breaking his silence, I hope he joins me in educating the world about HIV/AIDs."
Johnson has been a force in combating HIV ever since he was diagnosed -- launching the Magic Johnson Foundation in 1991 ... which works with millions people.
