Glen 'Big Baby' Davis -- Motel Meltdown Makes Me Smile

Glen "Big Baby" Davis couldn't help but smirk when we asked about his temper tantrum in a Florida motel last month -- ESPECIALLY when we asked about his very UN-baller choice of lodgings.

You'll recall, Davis lost his cool big time at a Travelodge in Orlando ... ripping out the front desk's keyboard when a clerk told him they were all booked up. We posted security footage of the meltdown.

Davis -- who issued a public apology after the incident -- was out shopping in D.C. earlier today when we asked him about it ... specifically, why the hell is a highly-paid athlete staying at a freaking Travelodge? No offense, Travelodge.

Thankfully, Davis can see the humor in all of it now. Kinda. Sorta. Please don't hurt us.
