Appeared in all 18 regular season games, converting 52 of 56 field goal attempts (92.9%). He had a record of 33 field goals in a row, setting a club record. Playoffs: suited up for the Eastern Final, converting on 3 of 3 field goal attempts (100%). Received CFL Honour Roll recognition for weeks 16 and 21.

2024: Tiger-Cats

Re-signed with the Tiger-Cats on Feb. 5…Played in all 18 regular season games, converting 43 of 48 field goal attempts (89.5%) with a long of 55 yards while also converting 38 of 40 convert attempts (95%)…Converted a 55-yard field goal attempt with 2:42 remaining in the Labour Day Classic to help secure the victory for the Ticats…Converted a walk-off  48-yard field goal week 16 at Toronto…Signed a contract extension through the 2026 season on Oct. 24.

2023: Tiger-Cats

Played in 18 games…Week three against Montreal on Jun. 23/23, went four-for-four field goals, with his longest being 44-yards…Went five-four-five on field goals week 5 vs Ottawa, longest field goal was 50 yards…Went three-for-three on field goals and converts, with his longest being 36-yards…Went three-for-three on field goals and converts, nailing a 48 yard field goal in week 19 vs B.C. on Oct. 13/23.
Playoffs: Appeared in the Eastern Semi-Final going four-for-four on field goals, totaling 145 yards with his longest being 47 yards in Montreal on Nov. 4/23.

2022: Blue Bombers

Liegghio handled all the Blue Bombers placekicking, punting and kickoff responsibilities in 2022. He connected on 32 of his 39 field-goal attempts for a 82.1 percentage, while hitting 56 of 61 of his converts, or 91.8 percent.
Liegghio had a 46.9-yard average on 91 punts, landing eight kicks inside the opponent’s 10-yard line.

2021: Blue Bombers

Liegghio dressed for all 14 regular-season games and both the Western Final and Grey Cup in his rookie season, handling the punting chores for every game, finishing with a 43.7-yard average and placing seven punts inside the opponents’ 10-yard line, tied for third-most in the CFL. His 61.6-yard kickoff average was ranked fourth…Liegghio was also the club’s field-goal kicker for three games, going 4-of-4 — including a game-winning 50-yarder — in a win over Calgary in late August. He finished the year connecting of 5-of-8 (62.5 percent) and posted the same numbers in his converts…Member of Winnipeg’s Grey Cup Championship team.

COLLEGE/PERSONAL
College: Liegghio played four years at Western University, leading all U Sports punters in 2019 with a 47.5 yard punt average, setting a new OUA record. Liegghio also lead the league in extra points made (31) and total kickoff yardage (1,757) and finished with a 92% field goal percentage. He was selected by the Blue Bombers in the fifth round, 39th overall, in the 2020 CFL Draft with a pick that was acquired from the Toronto Argonauts in the Zach Collaros trade.
