Andrew Mountbatten Windsor

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew or the Duke of York, is Queen Elizabeth II’s second son and was a working member of the Royal Family until November 2019 when Buckingham Palace confirmed his withdrawal from public life in the wake of a BBC interview about his friendship with deceased paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. In October 2025, following further revelations on the scandal, it was announced that King Charles was stripping Andrew of all his royal titles, including ‘Prince’. He has two adult daughters – Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie – with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson with whom he still lives despite their divorce in 1996.
