HOLLYOAKS star Chelsee Healey is leaving the soap.
The actress – who has played Goldie McQueen for the last eight years – will take a step back from the show in order to pursue other projects after a tumultuous few years in her personal life.
A source said: “Chelsee has decided it’s time to move on from Hollyoaks for good.
“She’s hasn’t had a full time contract on the show for some time now.
“She’s been doing other stuff on the side for a while – like Waterloo Road – but she’s taking the leap fully now.
“It’s a new start for this year.”

The Sun recently revealed how Chelsee will soon reprise her role in Waterloo Road as mouthy Janeece Bryant – a role she first played in 2006.
She will be seen on screen later this year.
Meanwhile Chelsee recently revealed that her boyfriend Eddie Rainford had been released from prison.
He was locked up in June for his role in a ‘wholesale’ drug-dealing operation.

Eddie was jailed for 24 months, after he pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug between November 2022 and September 2023.
Now Chelsee and Eddie, who share daughter Cookie, have reunited in a series of social media posts.
The pair began dating in 2021 with Chelsee keeping his identity a secret before going to court and watching him be sentenced.
Eddie had supplied large quantities of cannabis with co-accused Jay Boyd
Chelsee had gone to Manchester Crown Court to watch his sentencing and broke down in tears as he was carted off to jail.
His plea came days after she was eliminated from Dancing on Ice.
Chelsee, who also has daughter Coco, seven, from another relationship, previously said of Rainford: “This is the most supportive relationship I’ve ever been in.
“My friends and family love him, and he’s the first bloke I’ve introduced Coco to, which says a lot.
“I knew he was ‘The One’ within three to four months. I’ve kissed a few frogs, but he’s definitely marriage material.”
The star revealed she was plagued with “dark thoughts” during her pregnancy and suffered post-partum depression.
She said: “I have suffered with my mental health for a long time and it hit its peak while I was pregnant.”
After leaving Dancing on Ice, she revealed she had suffered a miscarriage while competing on the show.
