IT was the podcast-turned-TV series that turned out to be a surprise hit on BBC One — but now it has been axed after just two seasons.
The Chris And Rosie Ramsey Show was hosted by the married couple and enjoyed decent ratings as well as some interesting guests.

After two outings in 2022 and 2023, they put plans for a third on ice — and it has now been confirmed it will not be returning.
It might be something to do with how busy Rosie and Chris are as they are still delivering their podcast Sh**ged. Married. Annoyed.
But at their busiest two years ago, they were also doing the TV show and a spin-off tour — and Chris still has his own comedy gigs.
Talking on their podcast recently, Rosie said: “At one point we had the podcast, the tour and the TV show all at the same time.

“That was really hard. It was too much.
“To the point where I was like, ‘I’ve got nothing left to say to you’.
“We’d be sitting down for dinner and I’d be like, ‘I’m all talked out’.
Chris replied: “We were going through it. She threw a strop in Sheffield Arena. It wasn’t a rock star, you know, smashing tellies and that.

“Rosie got her rail of clothes and she sort of slapped them from side to side. I remember thinking, ‘I get that you’re upset, but that was pathetic’.”
The TV programme was a little different to most chat shows as it tended to host guests who were either married — like Joel Dommett and wife Hannah — or siblings, such as soap brothers Adam and Ryan Thomas.
A TV insider said: “The BBC remain big fans of Chris and Rosie and the fact the show isn’t returning isn’t a sign of any bad feeling — quite the contrary.
“They wish them all the best and are still hoping to work with them on other projects in the future.”
DAISY’S ROOTS IN LOOTS

SIBLINGS DAISY MAY and Charlie Cooper are descended from 18th century highwayman Dick Turpin.
The duo, who shot to fame with their hit comedy This Country, made the amazing discovery while filming their BBC Two ghost-hunting series NightWatch, which continues on Sunday.
The show sees the pair visit supposedly haunted buildings around the UK.
On one episode, Charlie remembered a family story about being related to a highway robber, so he texts their aunt.
Joan replies to confirm they are indeed the great-grandchildren times 12 of Dick – who held up horse-drawn carriages, telling victims, “Stand and deliver!” before stealing bagfuls of jewellery and money.
Thrilled by the news, Charlie announces to a delighted Daisy: “We’re a family of robbers and convicts!”
Must have been a proud moment.
JOEL & KEMI GET TUCK IN
JOEL DOMMETT and Kemi Rodgers are returning to Oz for I’m A Celebrity’s sister show, Unpacked.
But this time sidekick Sam Thompson won’t be joining them for the full run.
Joel and Kemi promise to dive deeper into the drama, laughs and chaos of the jungle than ever before in the show.
They’ll be serving up the latest behind-the-scenes secrets, unseen clips, exclusive interviews, and an insider’s guide to the Bushtucker Trials with a string of celebrity guests including Sam, Jill Scott and Seann Walsh.
Joel said: “We’re back, bigger and better than ever! It’s going to be packed with more jungle juice than a Bushtucker Trial smoothie!”
UP TO THE TASK AT XMAS
TASKMASTER is serving up a double helping for Christmas.
Channel 4 has confirmed Greg Davies and Alex Horne will have two special festive episodes for the first time ever.
They’ll gather an eclectic mix of five well-known faces and put them through the usual array of bonkers tasks, all in the name of festive cheer.
The show’s Champion of Champions will be back too, featuring Sam Campbell, John Robins, Andy Zaltzman and Mathew Baynton.
They’ll battle it out once more alongside the soon-to-be announced winner of series 20, which continues every Thursday at 9pm.
TOM DAVIS and Bill Bailey will star in a new BBC comedy The Reluctant Vampire.
The six-parter is based on the books by Eric Morecambe and follows Val the vampire (Lenny Rush) as he discovers he’s really terribly human. It is due to air on BBC One later this year.
