The insider @Hypex has revealed when the new live event will start (half an hour before this estimated time, as the live event isn't expected to last much longer than this) before the game bounces back with its new season at 2pm PDT / 5pm EDT / 9pm GMT on the same day.
It's going to be a long downtime, but considering the entire game is getting a makeover, it's not surprising.
However, Fortnite is about to become an exciting place to be shortly after, so get ready to jump in.
