3 best bets for Los Angeles Dodgers vs Toronto Blue Jays in World Series Game 7
Check out the three best bets for Game 7 of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays, including a Shohei Ohtani prop selection
Baseball season has officially reached the month of November. And what fan of America’s pastime wouldn’t want one more game in what has been a thrilling and unpredictable World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays.
Facing elimination on Friday night, the Dodgers lived to fight another day with a 3-1 victory over the Blue Jays at a raucous Rogers Centre. Mookie Betts’ two-run single in the third inning was the difference in pushing this series to a seventh game.
Saturday night will mark the first Game 7 in the World Series since 2019, when the Washington Nationals defeated the Houston Astros. Let’s make our three best bets for the winner-take-all affair.
Under 8 (-118)
There have been 22 Game 7s in the MLB postseason this century, most recently between the Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners in the ALCS. Fewer than eight runs were scored in 15 of those 22 contests, including eight of the last nine dating back to 2017.
An average of 6.4 runs per game have been scored across the last 10 World Series Game 7s.
Both sets of players will be feeling the pressure tonight. Expecting a cautious approach from all involved, I am backing under eight total runs to be scored.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr 2+ Total Bases (+110)
Guerrero Jr is on a historic run at the plate and brings an 11-game hit streak into Saturday night. In 17 playoff games, Vladdy has a staggering 28 hits, including four doubles and eight home runs.
With two more hits, he will set the all-time mark for most hits in a single postseason. The pressure is on to stay hot, and I expect Guerrero to deliver.
Whether it be with a home run, an extra base hit, or two singles, look for Guerrero to clear 2+ total bases in Game 7.
Shohei Ohtani Over 4.5 Strikeouts Thrown (+122)
Ohtani will start Game 7 on the mound on just four days rest, having pitched in last Tuesday’s Game 4. The expectation is he won’t go his usual six innings, especially with Tyler Glasnow available in relief.

The two-way phenomenon has recorded 25 strikeouts in 18 innings pitched this postseason. Even if he only stays in the game for three or four innings, I can see Ohtani clearing this number.
