Melania Trump's 'fierce' five-word order to Donald when photo went wrong

Eric Trump has published a new book this week, in which he shares a number of anecdotes about his father, former US President Donald Trump, and his family life

Melania Trump once delivered a sharp instruction to Donald Trump when a photo opportunity went awry, according to claims in a new book written by the US President's son. Eric Trump, 41, published his memoir - Under Siege: My Family's Fight to Save Our Nation - this week, and it has been described as an "unfiltered look at the highs and lows of life in the Trump world".

Eric is Trump's second son and in his book he shared details about bringing his own family into the White House for a special occasion where the First Lady had to intervene at a critical moment. Eric and wife Lara share two children, named Luke and Carolina, and both of them were christened in his father's historic workplace in Washington DC. This occurred in the East Room beneath the famous portrait of Abraham Lincoln.

However, after the baptism, Melania, 55, delivered a five-word command to her husband after his grandson began crying, and Eric revealed the details in his new book. He wrote: "For Lara and me, having Luke and Carolina baptized there just seemed natural. My father could leave the Chinese delegation, or whatever the meeting of the day, and Luke and Carolina could feel the beauty of the building, and a movement that was now ingrained in their DNA. After the baptism, my father picked up his new grandson and held him for a photo. Right on cue, and still dripping with water, Luke started to cry. Melania turned to him with a smile and took charge. 'Donald, you run the country,' she said as she gently took Luke and cradled him in her arms." The revelation comes after the daughter of Trump's doctor made a bombshell claim about the president's health.

The 79-year-old president praised Eric's book this week, posting just 20 minutes after another message where he claimed credit for bringing "peace" to the Middle East following the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.

On Tuesday, he wrote on Truth Social: "UNDER SIEGE, which is breaking records everywhere. It's a phenomenal book that's a must-read for everyone. Congratulations Eric, you deserve it! ! !"

Meanwhile, Eric has been promoting the book and showering his father with compliments throughout his tour. On The Benny Show podcast, Eric remarked about his dad: "He is heaven-bound, and I can tell you maybe the one thing he does that might have influenced heaven is..

"I think there is a lot less people going to heaven, meaning, they are going to heaven slower because he stopped the death and destruction around the world." Yet last weekend, when questioned about whether his Hamas-Israel peace deal would earn him entry to heaven, Trump expressed more doubt than his son.

He stated: "I don't think there's anything [that is] going to get me in heaven. Okay? I think I'm not maybe heaven-bound." Trump continued: "I'm not sure I'm going to be able to make heaven, but I've made life a lot better for a lot of people."

It comes after a lip reader revealed Trump's furious 3-word question to Melania as he went into a meltdown on board Marine One.
