Barack Obama has broken his silence to respond to Donald Trump's claims that he fabricated the "Russia, Russia, Russia hoax."

His team slammed the "bizarre allegations" from the current president, who made a massive Epstein files radio blunder, as a "weak attempt at distraction."

"Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response," the statement from Obama's team begins. "But these claims are outrageous enough to merit one."

"These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction," it continues. "Nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes." It comes after a Trump family member revealed the latest chilling symptom of his cognitive decline and revealed he is “far gone”.

"These findings were affirmed in a 2020 report by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, led by then-Chairman Marco Rubio," it concludes, emphasizing Rubio's involvement in the Senate Intelligence Committee's findings. Rubio currently serves as Trump's Secretary of State.

Obama's team's response comes after Trump posted a short rant on his Truth Social account on Monday night targeting Obama, former President Joe Biden, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and "numerous others."

"Obama himself manufactured the Russia, Russia, Russia HOAX. Crooked Hillary, Sleepy Joe, and numerous others participated in this, THE CRIME OF THE CENTURY!. Irrefutable EVIDENCE. A major threat to our Country!!!" the president penned.

He also highlighted a comment from right-wing political commentator Victor Davis Hanson, who appeared on Fox News on Monday night. Hanson slammed the "Russia, Russia, Russia hoax" by comparing it to the infamous Watergate scandal that became former President Richard Nixon's undoing.

"'This makes Watergate look like small potatoes.' Victor Davis Hanson, Senior Fellow, Hoover Institution. They are caught, irrefutable evidence. They should ALL go to jail, or it will never stop. Nobody will believe the evidence, which is overwhelming! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!" Trump wrote, threatening the former presidents.

Toward the end of Trump's presidency, a bombshell report from Robert Mueller stemming from an extensive investigation came to light, which accused the Russians of interfering with the 2016 election that saw Trump win his first term.

Trump has consistently slammed the report as bogus, but many of the facts and data in it are irrefutable. That investigation became an indirect part of his first impeachment back in 2019.
