Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown ‘accuses co-star David Harbour of harassment’

Millie Bobby Brown reportedly filed a harassment and bullying claim against co-star David Harbour ahead of filming the final season of Stranger Things, according to new insider claims.

Actress Millie Bobby Brown is said to have made a formal complaint accusing her Stranger Things co-star David Harbour of harassment and bullying before production began on the hit Netflix show’s fifth and final season.

According to a report by The Daily Mail, the 20-year-old actress, who stars as Eleven, filed the claim against Harbour, who plays her adoptive father, police chief Jim Hopper. A friend of Harbour’s ex, Lily Allen, told the outlet, “Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.”

The report claims Harbour, 50, faced an internal inquiry by Netflix following Brown’s allegations. While the outcome of the investigation has not been disclosed, it is understood that the accusations did not involve sexual misconduct.

Harbour, who is currently estranged from his wife, British singer-songwriter Allen, has also been accused of infidelity amid their separation.

Allen’s latest album, West End Girl, reportedly addresses the end of their four-year marriage and references alleged affairs.

A friend close to Allen said she stood by Harbour during what they described as an extremely difficult period. “Lily supported him throughout it all. It was a brutal time,” the source said.

Netflix has declined to comment on whether an investigation took place, but insiders claim the streaming giant was careful to maintain a professional environment on set during filming.

Brown is said to have had a personal representative with her throughout production of the final season, which premieres later this month.

Despite the controversy, Netflix reportedly remains confident in the success of the show’s conclusion.

The final season will be released in two parts, with the second batch of episodes arriving over Christmas and the finale scheduled for a limited theatrical release on December 31. “It will be a theatrical event,” a Netflix source said. “Nothing is going to overshadow this, not even the leading man’s private life.”

Another source described the timing of the renewed allegations as “unfortunate” given the show’s global popularity. “Netflix will never comment on an internal investigation, but the fact they’ve not denied it speaks volumes,” the source said.

“Stranger Things helped put Netflix on the map. Millions of fans have been anticipating the finale. No one wants anything to take attention away from that.”

Brown rose to global fame through her role in the series, which first aired in 2016, and has since built an estimated fortune of $50 million.

As Stranger Things prepares to close out its run, both the cast and the network are facing backlash amid Harbour’s reported personal and professional troubles.

Allen, who is currently in Los Angeles, continues to promote West End Girl, which has topped charts in both the UK and the US and earned widespread critical praise.

The singer has been described as “celebrating the best reviews of her career” even as the allegations surrounding her estranged husband swirl in headlines.
