Amy Poehler and Tina Fey crucify 'big boy' ICE agents in brutal Saturday Night Live skit

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey took on the roles of Pam Bondi and Kristi Noem respectively in last night's episode of Saturday Night Live, during which they slammed ICE agents

Saturday Night Live mocked ICE agents as Amy Poehler and Tina Fey appeared on the show as Pam Bondi and Kristi Noem, following protests at an ICE facility in Illinois.

Protests have broken out across America to oppose the mass deportation raids being carried out by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency. Joining in with the criticism on Saturday night, Poehler and Fey's SNL skit saw them hit out at ICE recruitment drives, as well as President Donald Trump.

The sketch started by showing Bondi's controversial Senate hearing this week, where the United States Attorney General was asked about topics such as the Jeffrey Epstein files. Bondi has been making headlines recently after it was confirmed the president accidentally shared a direct message to the Attorney General on his public profile.

When asked on SNL, "You say that the troops are there to protect ICE facilities, but why is ICE there in the first place?" Poehler as Bondi said, "I don't know. You'll have to ask Homeland Security Director Kristi Noem."

Fey's Noem entered while holding a gun. She said, "That’s right, it’s me, Kristi Noem. I spell my name with an ‘I’ because that’s how I thought it was spelled."

Making a sly dig at the president, she added, And I'm the rarest type of person in Washington D.C., a brunette that Donald Trump listens to." Fey's Noem continued, "I'm here to tell you that this democrat government shutdown needs to end now."

When it was pointed out that democrats are eager to end the shutdown, Fey’s Noem sighed and said, "That makes me laugh more than the end of Old Yeller," referencing a movie in which a dog gets shot. Noem famously admitted to killing her own dog after she said it was untrainable.

When asked if that was the film she meant, Fey as Noem replied, "Dogs don't just 'get shot,' heroes shoot them. Speaking of heroes, our government agents are working without pay. Luckily, my boys in ICE don't mind. They're in it for the love of the game. And how did I find them? By running ads like this."

Looking directly into the camera, Fey’s Noem asked, "Do you need a job now? Are you a big tough guy? Tough enough for the army or the police?" Poehler's Bondi answered "yes" to all of the questions apart from the last one.

Fey’s Noem wasn't put off as she asked, "Do you take supplements that you bought at a gas station?" Poehler's Bondi confirmed, "Daily."

"Do you like to use zip ties because people in your life don't trust you with keys?" Fey’s Noem asked. When Poehler's Bondi said, "You know it," Fey as Noem finished, "Then buckle up and slap on some Oakleys big boy. Welcome to ICE."

A clip of the sketch was shared on X, with viewers praising SNL in the comments. "No gonna lie! Have Tina Fey as Kristi Noem and Amy Poehler as Pam Bondi was genius! Give em a raise for this performance!" one person urged.

"So funny!!" another person praised, as a third fan added, "MAGA People crying s---- too funny." Someone else declared it was the "best opening ever."
