Receive a comprehensive introduction to Donum’s wines and world-renowned art collection. This fully private experience begins with a guided all-terrain vehicle tour through the Estate, including the culinary gardens, working farm and the complete sculpture collection set among the vineyards. The visit concludes with a seated tasting of Estate wines paired with seasonal small plates featuring Estate-sourced ingredients. Allow approximately two hours.

The Donum Collection® Art Tour

1 Hour | $50 Per Person (21 and over; no wine tasting included)

Enjoy a self-guided walking tour of The Donum Collection in Sonoma, an expansive and evolving collection of contemporary art thoughtfully integrated throughout our 200-acre estate. One of the world’s largest publicly accessible private sculpture collections, it features nearly 70 monumental works, many of which were site-specific commissions. Each piece engages with scale, nature, and imagination, offering a unique opportunity to explore, discover, and connect.

This is an art-only tour and does not include a wine tasting experience.

  • The Donum Estate is located in the Carneros winegrowing region in Sonoma, California, near San Pablo Bay. The Estate is 10 minutes from downtown Sonoma and approximately one hour north of San Francisco. 

  • The Donum Estate is internationally recognized for estate-grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from its Regenerative Organic Certified® vineyards, and immersive tasting experiences that bring together wine, art, architecture, and nature. The Estate is also home to one of the world's largest publicly accessible collections of large-scale contemporary sculpture, 

  • Yes. All visits are by reservation only. 

  • Every visit is thoughtfully designed to connect you with The Donum Estate through wine, art, and the land. Guided by a dedicated Donum host, you'll discover our wines, contemporary sculpture collection, and commitment to regenerative organic farming. 

  • Yes. The Donum Collection Art Tour–a self-guided tour of the Estate and art collection– is available by reservation. To make a reservation, click here. 

  • Guests with a reservation are invited to explore the Estate at their leisure following their scheduled visit.

  • A limited number of private experiences and events may be available. Please contact our Events team at events@thedonumestate.com or 707-732-2200 to inquire about hosting your event at Donum. 

  • All visitors must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Pets are not permitted at the Estate. Service animals are permitted. 

  • Yes. We are committed to providing a welcoming experience for all guests. Please let us know of any accessibility needs when making your reservation.

  • Comfortable footwear is recommended, as most experiences include walking through outdoor spaces and on uneven terrain. We also recommend dressing in layers, as weather in Carneros can change throughout the day, and wearing sun protection. 

  • Because of our rural location, rideshare availability can be limited. We recommend arranging private transportation in advance of your visit. Should you choose to drive, parking is available on-site.

  • Reservations are released quarterly in February, May, August, and November. We encourage booking early, as availability is limited.

  • Guests may enjoy non-alcoholic cocktails crafted with ingredients from our culinary gardens in place of wine in any tasting experience. Please make this request while booking your reservation.
