Is it worth the price?
Okay, hear me out. Ten percent off usually isn’t something to write home about. However, the Super Puff rarely goes on sale. So if you’ve been on the fence about it or if you already have a cartful of Aritzia pieces to buy, 10 percent is still something. I’ve worn my standard Super Puff for the last four years. It is my go-to outerwear when the temperatures dip below freezing in New York. I’ve even washed it, and it still holds up, so the cost per wear is worth it. Plus, since launching, Aritzia’s expanded the number of colorways and materials — so there’s a coat for everyone, even your dog.
If I did need a new puffer, I’d opt for a longer option for extra warmth.
How does the Super Puff compare to other coats?
To put it plainly: It’s warm, it comes equipped with a hood, and it’s adjustable in all the right ways. Made of nylon and elastane, the down-filled coat can sustain cold up to -22°F. Sure, you don’t have to worry about weather that cold in New York City, but it’s helped me through some very cold mornings in the last four years.
