Carole Feeney Good for you Allison, and thank you so much for your bravery and fortitude. Someone has to stand up against this sinister nonsense. The closing down of free speech, and the fear of being 'cancelled' for ordinary people, are oppressing the rights our grandparents fought and died for.
Allison Pearson
That’s why I’m doing it, Carole. Our grandparents and great-grandparents fought a war so we could live in a free country. Sorry, though, I’m not brave. Doing my best!
Andrew Marks Good luck Allison. The police are trampling over the hard earned rights of citizens that are enshrined in common law and the Magna carter. I have had a similar experience with police acting unlawfully. Far too many don't realise that the police act unlawfully daily. We need to challenge this and make people aware.
Allison Pearson
Yes, we do need to challenge it, Andrew. I want to know why it took Essex Police twelve months to turn up at my door if my tweet had caused any problem! Best of luck to you.
