Employment rate of persons aged 15-64 in Poland 2004-2024

*The results of LFS have been generalized on the basis of the balance of population compiled on the basis of Population and Housing Census 2011. e The LFS results differ from the ones published for the previous periods due to the methodological changes following the implementation of the framework regulation for social statistics, i.e. Regulation (EU) of the European Parliament and of the Council 2019/1700 of 10 October 2019 and its implementing acts. The changes concern mainly:
- definition of employed persons (which, consequently, has also an impact on the population of non-working persons, including the unemployed, and which is also reflected in the relations between these populations described by indicators, including the unemployment rate),
- methodology of specification of particular persons on the labour market - the employed, unemployed and economically inactive persons (mainly adjusting the content and the order of questions to the requirements of the new legal acts and their placement in the questionnaire), therefore, the LFS data from 2021 onwards cannot be compared with the previous years (with the exception of the recalculated data included in this publication).
