In 2019, he co-founded the investigative college sports outlet The Intercollegiate with Daniel Libit, and before that worked for ESPN The Magazine, the New York Daily News and Dow Jones & Co. He has covered the Super Bowl, the Olympics, the World Cup, the World Series and March Madness. He has won multiple Associated Press Sports Editors honors for investigative reporting, several awards for feature writing as a contributor to Adirondack Life magazine, and his story about human trafficking of teenage basketball players for Bleacher Report, co-written with Teri Thompson, was selected for The Best American Sports Writing 2017.
