This document provides the syllabus for the Hacking 4 Recovery 5-day online class at Stanford. The class will help companies find new markets, customers, and revenue models in response to the pandemic. Students will validate their business assumptions daily by interviewing 10-15 customers/partners and building MVPs. Teams will use frameworks like the Business Model Canvas and Value Proposition Canvas to systematically discover opportunities in areas like new businesses, market pivots, distribution channels, and more. Each day will involve customer interviews, building MVPs, team presentations, and lectures on lean methodology. The goal is to give students an entrepreneurial experience of validating ideas with customers.
