The Protomen from Tennessee debuted with the
futurist concept album The Protomen (2005) in a style reminiscent of
prog-rock of the 1970s, simply updated to the videogame subculture of their age
and with the occasional heavy-metal discharge.
Act II: The Father of Death (2009) was a more mature work, with more
expressive vocals and a more aggresive sound.
