2024: First CFL start, Aug. 8 at Ottawa … dressed for 12 regular-season games, starting eight at left guard.

2023: Fry dressed for four regular-season games with the Roughriders as a first-year CFLer.

COLLEGE: Fry attended training camp with the Roughriders in 2022 after being drafted in the second round, 16th overall. After camp, he returned to Western University for his fourth season of U Sports eligibility. Over four seasons at Western, he played in 37 games. He was named an OUA All-Star and a Second Team All-Canadian in 2022, when the Mustangs won all eight of their regular-season games. In both 2019 and 2021, Fry was named an OUA First-Team All-Star and a U Sports Second-Team All-Canadian. Additionally, he capped off the 2021 season by helping the Mustangs capture the eighth Vanier Cup title in school history. He was also named to the OUA All-Rookie Team in 2018.

FAST FACT: “My goal was to try and play hockey as a pro,” Fry says, “but then I realized I was just a little bit too big, so I made the switch to football and I’ve never looked back.”
