COLLEGE: Wiebe was selected by the Roughriders in the second round, 12th overall, of the 2024 CFL Draft. After spending his first two seasons of collegiate football with the University of Oregon Ducks, he transferred to the University of Saskatchewan and joined the Huskies in 2021. Over three seasons and 31 games with the Huskies, Wiebe registered 199 defensive tackles (six for a loss), five sacks, three forced fumbles and one pass deflection. In Wiebe’s final season with the Huskies, he led Canada West with 77 defensive tackles and added a sack and a forced fumble. Also in 2023, he was named Canada West’s most outstanding defensive player and a conference All-Star. He also received the Kent Phillips Trophy as the most outstanding male athlete at the U of S.
FAST FACT: Wiebe had four solo tackles and two assisted tackles for Oregon in the 2021 Fiesta Bowl.
