T'ai Chi
White Dragon Short Form T'ai Chi where all levels welcome.
During the Auburn renovation, the program runs 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday mornings at McAuley Meadows Apartments, 585 Sacramento Street, Auburn (on the corner of Sacramento Street and Auburn Folsom Road). First-time attendees should arrive at 7:45 a.m. to register.
The program will also be held 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Thursdays and Friday mornings at the Railhead Park Covered Picnic Area, 175 Pacific Avenue, Auburn (east of Sacramento Street). First-time attendees please arrive at 7:45 a.m. to register.
Silver Screen Classic Movies
Silver Screen is a free library-sponsored program that meets every first Saturday of the month. During the Auburn renovation it will be held at Parkside Church Fellowship Hall, 3885 Richardson Drive, Auburn. Movie showings take place at 12:00pm, 3:30pm, and 7:30pm.
At the Granite Bay and Rocklin Libraries
Read to a Dog
Children 5 and up are invited to attend Read to a Dog which occurs on the first Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the Granite Bay Library and the third Tuesday of each month at 3:30 p.m at the Rocklin Library.
This program aims to boost children's reading abilities and self-confidence through the practice of reading aloud to trained therapy dogs. Discover the joy and comfort in reading to these compassionate, non-judgmental, and gentle dogs.
STEM Saturday
Children ages 5 to 10 and their families can join us for STEM Saturdays, held on the third Saturday of each month at the Granite Bay library. Each session will feature a story about a scientist working in a STEM field as well as engaging, hands-on activities where families build, experiment, and explore together. Discover the excitement of STEM while sparking curiosity, building confidence, and learning together.
