No Interest if paid in full in 6 months on purchases of $149 or more when checking out online with PayPal.

  • Interest will be charged to your account from the purchase date at the APR applicable to your account if the balance is not paid in full within 6 months.
  • A minimum monthly payment is required, which may not pay off the purchase by the end of the 6 month period.
  • Individual items less than $149 qualify for special financing when combined for a total of $149 or more in a single transaction. However, separate transactions cannot be combined to meet the minimum purchase amount.

Travel Purchases with the PayPal Credit Card

For a limited time: No Interest if paid in full in 6 months on Qualifying Travel Purchases when either checking out online with PayPal or anywhere Mastercard is accepted.

  • Interest will be charged to your account from the purchase date at the APR applicable to your account if the balance is not paid in full within 6 months.
  • A minimum monthly payment is required, which may not pay off the purchase by the end of the 6 month period.
  • “Qualifying Travel Purchases” are: 1) Purchases of goods and services of any dollar amount made with your PayPal Credit Mastercard; 2) Designated as “travel” based on a merchant’s MCC (as described below); and 3) Posted to your PayPal Credit Mastercard account on or before 1/31/2026.
  • “Qualifying Travel Purchases” do not include purchases that post to an account after 1/31/2026, even if the transaction was initiated on or before 1/31/2026. Note: A travel purchase will not post to an account until on or after the date the merchant charges your account, which, as an example, may not be until the date of travel. In such case, if this occurs after 1/31/2026, the purchase will not be a “Qualifying Travel Purchase,” even if the transaction was initiated before 1/31/2026. Purchases made through a third-party payment account, mobile or wireless card reader, digital wallet or any technology that does not support the transmission of MCCs are also excluded.
  • “MCC” means a merchant category code, as defined by Mastercard, that is assigned to a merchant by the merchant’s payment card network or merchant processor based on the predominant business activity of the merchant. Neither PayPal nor Synchrony assigns or has responsibility for the assignment of MCCs or evaluates what MCCs should be assigned to a specific merchant. Synchrony reserves the right to determine from time to time which MCCs are included in the travel category. Synchrony is not responsible for providing promotional financing at merchants who do not report a travel purchase with an accurate MCC.

  • For standard purchases, if you pay your balance in full each month by the payment due date, you can avoid paying interest. You can also make minimum monthly payments, or any additional amount of your choosing, until you’ve paid off your balance according to your standard account terms, but interest charges may apply.
  • If you do not pay the required minimum monthly payment by the payment due date, you will be charged a late fee.
