The Alternative

On our site you'll find articles, interviews, playlists, reviews, and more, all with the goal of exposing underrated artists to new ears. We even have a youtube show called Alt TV where we have great new music vidoes and other cool stuff. Also we are making a zine, and we've booked festivals too. Our staff is made up of a diverse group of writers, photographers, designers, and editors who have great taste and constantly search for the coolest tracks. We want to grow our site while staying completely owned and controlled by the us music fans, that's why we started this Patreon. We believe that the support of our readers can fund The Alternative and allow us to promote even more great music. All of our funds are shared proportionally and fairly among our staff or used to fund more cool events for the site, including our new zine, sponsoring festivals and making more videos and live sessions for our YouTube.
