Where to eat Thanksgiving dinner in Portland (updated)

Here are the Portland restaurants serving dinner to stay or go on Thanksgiving day.(Ray Whitehouse/The Oregonian)

Update: Looking for a place to eat this year? Please see our most recent guide to Portland restaurants open for Thanksgiving dinner.

Original story: You could wait until the turkey is black and smoking, until the kitchen sink is clogged and the mashed potatoes have fallen on the floor.

Or you could just make those Thanksgiving reservations now.

In the days ahead, we'll update this post with Portland-area restaurants staying open around Thanksgiving with turkey dinners to stay or to go. Know of a restaurant with seats still available? Drop me a line at mrussell@oregonian.com.
