The Data Access Protocol 4.0 (DAP 4) is the latest stable specification that the Hyrax data server implements. DAP4 spans and improves all of DAP2 data model while adding various new features such Groups and new atomic types. Dive in!

DMR++ are sidecar files that contain chunk references among other extra metadata (hence the `++`) that Hyrax can create for each H5/netcdf4 file. These sidecar files allow for cloud-optimized access to remote data via Hyrax or a Client API that can parse and aggregate these documents. Dive in the user guide!
