Our impact is shaped by the generosity of others

Support our transformative work

Nordoff and Robbins supports some of the UK’s most isolated and vulnerable people, trains the music therapists of tomorrow, and funds the research that makes our approach increasingly effective. We receive no government funding at all, so the transformative work we do is built upon the enterprise and generosity of groups, corporations and individuals like you.

Fundraising

Fundraising for Nordoff and Robbins gives individuals, friends or small groups such as schools, clubs, choirs or bands the chance to enjoy a memorable experience while bringing people together in support of a meaningful cause. Music therapy is based on the power of participation. Whether you’re organising an event or being sponsored for a challenge, fundraising draws on that same vital power.

Partnerships

Through our charity partnerships, we develop relationships with businesses of all sizes that want to give something back to society. There is no set template for this. We work closely with our partners to create a model that fits with their mission and ours. The benefits go both ways. While supporting our transformative work, our partners can enhance their brand, motivate their staff, and build valuable new connections.

Edith Bowman presents at the O2 Silver Clef Awards Lunch 2022, an annual event celebrating the biggest talents in British music while raising millions of pounds in aid of music therapy.

Events

Events offer us an essential source of income. They give us a platform for spreading awareness of our work and the difference it can make to people’s lives. They’re also great occasions in their own right, a chance for people to come together in a vibrant, celebratory atmosphere. Because music is part of our DNA, many of our events are associated with the music industry, but others are open to the public.

Help us enrich lives with music

If you’d like to support us by sending a simple donation, whether a one-off payment or a regular contribution, your generosity will have a meaningful impact. £10 could help maintain the instruments we use in music therapy. £20 could help pay for a music therapy session. £50 could go towards training a music therapist. £100 could support our pioneering research.

The difference you can make

Music can break through when words fail. That’s why we strive to bring music therapy to thousands of people with life-limiting illnesses, disabilities and feelings of isolation.
