Short courses

An entry point into many aspects of music therapy

The place to start

Our short courses help cast a light on many different aspects of music therapy. Whether you’re looking for an introduction to the Nordoff and Robbins approach, you’re a music therapist who would like to find out how the approach could inform your work, or you’re a carer and want to know how music making could make a meaningful difference to the people you support – this is the place to start.

Research

Together with delivery and education, research is one of the three central pillars of our work. Our research allows us to properly examine our practice. It highlights opportunities that might otherwise go unnoticed. It helps us train our students more effectively. Ultimately, it gives us the knowledge we need to evolve our approach in a way that makes it more impactful for the people we support.
