Community Choir

A space to share the collective joy of singing

A profound connection

Our Community Choir in London provides space for anyone, regardless of ability, to experience the joy of collective singing. By uniting their voices in song, members are able to express themselves and share a profound human connection. Both the singing and the personal interaction have significant benefits for members’ physical, mental and social health.

How does it work?

Our Community Choir meets every Wednesday from 6pm to 7.30pm at our North London music therapy centre.

It’s free to join and open to everyone. New members can start at any time and there’s no pressure to attend regularly. Songs tend to be familiar and accessible, and we encourage members to suggest music and themes.

If you’d like to join us, get in touch by calling 020 7267 4496 or emailing [email protected].

Music therapist Oli plays the keyboard during a music therapy session. With one arm raised, he sings passionately.

Although I don’t think I’m a great singer, I enjoy it and feel I can keep in tune when singing with others. It’s fun singing in a group and definitely releases endorphins, which is a great way of feeling good and relaxed.

Help us enrich lives with music

We support some of the UK’s most isolated and vulnerable people, train the music therapists of tomorrow, and fund the research that makes our approach increasingly effective. We receive no government funding at all, so the transformative work we do is built upon the enterprise and generosity of groups, corporations and individuals like you.
