.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 1025 mb located over central
Florida dominates the Gulf, supporting moderate or weaker return
flow over the basin ahead of a cold front that extends from SW
Louisiana to southern Texas. The front will sweep southward
across the Gulf region through late Thu. Fresh to near gale
force northerly winds and rough seas will follow the front.
Winds and seas will begin to diminish across the Gulf area from
W to E Thu night into Fri as high pressure settles over the NW
Gulf.

.TODAY...W to NW winds 15 to 20 kt, shifting to N in the
afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers.
.TONIGHT...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.
.THU...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.
.THU NIGHT...W to NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
