After her cat bit her flatmate, a Reddit user decided to take revenge on the feline—they way she did it has left internet users in stitches.

To get back at the cat, the poster shared all of his most embarrassing pictures in post published on Thursday under the username u/ermvarju, which has so far received over 86,000 upvotes and 1,900 comments on the platform.

“He bit my roommate so I’m posting his ugliest pics," she writes in the caption. “I love him his name is Peep when he’s being evil he turns into a demon named Malphus.”

The pictures, show the tabby cat in the most awkward positions, from sitting like a frog, to biting his toenails, and just being generally goofy.

Cats can be friendly, loving, and affectionate, but sometimes they may also bite. This usually happens for a variety of reasons, including love biting, fear, anxiety, being a pet, frustration, rough play, social pressure, illness, or pain.

Love bites are usually gentle nibbles intended to pose no harm, usually to express their desire for something, such as food or attention.

Fear and anxiety can cause the cat to feed scared or threatened, and when this happens, they may resort to biting as a defensive mechanism. This behavior usually comes with warning signs such as meowing, hissing, crouching down, dilated pupils, raised hair on their back or tail, and flattened ears.

If they’re biting while petting them, it means that they’ve probably had enough. Look for signs like the cat stopping purring, stiffening, thrashing their tail, or hissing.

Cats may also bite when they are in pain. If you notice sudden changes in their behavior including a new biting habit, less patience and more irritability, get them checked by their veterinarian to rule out medical conditions.
