Kaufmann contributed $115,000 to the restoration work, Michiels said, "and hundreds of individuals have come forward to meet the total bill. If we are successful in developing the $500,000 endowment fund, we know the restoration of the interior will be completed and that funds will be available to maintain Unity temple for generations to come."
