Rest as Radical: Reclaiming Wellness for the Helping Professional
Presenter Aja King, PhD, LPCC

Wellness among helping professionals has become a critical issue. Recent data from the CDC (2022) found that 46% of health workers report feeling burned out often or very often, up from 32% just four years prior. This growing crisis calls for new ways to understand self-care—not as a luxury, but as a necessity for ethical and sustainable practice. This three-hour webinar invites mental-health professionals to explore wellness as more than self-care — as a practice of restoration, embodiment, and reconnection. (Cabrera & Powers, 2015).

Cost:  Member $60 | Non-Member $95 | Student $15 | Retired Member (no CE credit) $30
