EXCLUSIVE: MAFS UK star Rebecca dishes shocking home truths and issues warning to Leo in tense scene

EXCLUSIVE: MAFS star Rebecca was not afraid to dish out some home truths in the latest episode of the hit reality show as she warned a co-star that he needed to 'back off'

Married At First Sight star Rebecca was not afraid to dish out some home truths in the latest episode of the hit reality show. Fans of the E4 programme , which sees total strangers 'marry' before trying to make a success of their sudden relationship, will know that April and Leo tied the knot relatively late in the new series after being introduced as 'intruder bride and grooms,' after all the other participants had already been matched.

In Wednesday night's episode, Rebecca, who had had some time apart from her husband Bailey as part of Partner Swap week, caught up with her co-stars over dinner and quickly set about having a candid conversation with Leo about the state of his relationship with April.

Having chatted to Rebecca about how things are going, Leo later claimed she had 'misinterpreted' what he said, and she then decided to put her two pence in on camera as well. In a first-look clip shared with The Mirror, she said: "The only issue I had is that you don't really feel good enough for her, you're not the man that she's looking for. Basically, you're feeling just so emotionally invested in this relationship and April isn't at where you're at.

Rebecca did not stop there, and she claimed that Leo seems to be more 'invested' in the relationship than April is, and warned him that could lead to heartbreak if he does not take a step back.

"And that's when I thought, 'Hang on a minute, you're doing so much here...' I worry how far that's gonna go because she is your dream woman, she's everything you're looking for. And if there's no potential in this relationship, from April's point of view, then you need to back off with everything that you're doing.

"Because you're gonna get yourself hurt."

Rebecca might have had no problem with being honest, but her relationship with Bailey hasn't exactly been plain sailing either. Last week, the pair had spent some time apart but they reunited, it wasn't long before they got into an argument over a hypothetical game which saw the bride getting asked who she would be with if she wasn't matched with Bailey. Upon revealing she would have picked Joe, a row erupted before Bailey stormed off.

Rebecca then answered: “You were basically implying that you were done with me and all relationship!" They then sat through a dramatic dinner party where Julia-Ruth was called out by the fellow contestants for 'making a mockery of the experiment'.

It was a long week of drama for Rebecca and Bailey, so it wasn't a surprise they had lots to say at the commitment ceremony.

Rebecca admitted: "Being away from him was awful. I do think it's made us stronger, made us closer but gave me a wake-up call of what life would be like if he's not there every day."

Expert Paul C Brunson reminded the pair having conflict and later, resolution, usually leads to couples being stronger."

Tearing up, Rebecca said: "I'm worried that if it doesn't work and we can't make it work that I'll be left where I was before, heartbroken, because then he's not in my life anymore.

"There's so many reasons to be unsure and that's what was blocking me from saying I loved him. I just couldn't take that next step."

However, she soon smirked and cheekily added: "That's what WAS blocking me from saying it. I do love you. I love you loads," before he said it back to her.
