There's an unexpected storyline on the way on Coronation Street, that puts new family the Driscolls front and centre.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Ben Driscoll actor Aaron McCusker revealed he and his co-stars are currently filming a massive new plot that fans "won't see coming". The long-running storyline will see characters tested, and is set to spark a huge reaction with fans.
Aaron teased there were twists and turns aplenty on the way, and something fans will not expect will rock the new family on the cobbles. It will run into the new year, and not even Aaron knows how it will end just yet.
He told us: "There is a huge storyline coming up for the family which you don't see coming. It will drag out for a while, it has to, but when it eventually happens it will get a reaction.

It remains to be seen where they're going with it but I'm sure there will be more twists too. But the big storyline we are working on at the minute, I am looking forward to seeing the reaction to it.
"It's a huge storyline that is coming up, and it is gonna rock us as a family." Teasing what fans can expect from the Driscolls following Eva Price's "mother-in-law from hell" Maggie arriving, Aaron shared that there's plenty of big moments ahead.
He said: "There’s lots of fun, lots of secrets and lots of in-fighting. Right now we are letting the audience get to know us and taking it from there. It's gonna be a lot of fun in The Rovers, very raucous.
"There’s a scene that I can’t go too much into during the Halloween party where I meet one of Eva’s exes in a very funny way. It was done quite well. "
Aaron also gave us a glimpse of Christmas, with the Driscoll clan set to be a central point of the Christmas Day episode. he confessed: "It's dramatic, boozy and chaotic. It’s revealing too, and heartbreaking. There is plenty of fun though. I don't know much about the crossover coming up, but I know the cast are having a very good time filming it."
With the mention of heartbreak this Christmas, perhaps this is when the family's huge and unexpected storyline will kick off. Either way, Aaron's loving his time on the show.
He said: "It's been good so far, we'll see what happens. I’m really enjoying it. It is really nice to see the familiar faces in a new job having already had mates here. I know people say it all the time but it’s a lovely, lovely place to work."
