Tonight's episode of Celebrity Traitors saw the Faithfuls finally catch their first Traitor - with Jonathan Ross being banished from the competition. The TV presenter didn't hold back when it came to his exit speech, with him branding his fellow contestants as "idiots" before revealing his Traitor status.
“I’ve got no idea what everyone’s doing wrong," he told them. "I can’t believe you’ve done it again. I can’t believe that I’m standing here for no good reason I don’t want to be rude but - you’re idiots!
"I’m not judging, because it’s fiendish - I’m not blaming the players, I’m blaming the game. I am now, and have been all through the game, completely Faithful,” he insisted, as heads went into hands around the table, before he added: “To the Traitors!"
Jonathan wasn't the only loss to the cast in this episode, with Lucy Beaumont being murdered by the Traitors at the start of the episode. With not long to go before the finale, here are all the latest Celebrity Traitors updates.

Beaumont and Burns confided in each other on The Celebrity Traitors
Beaumont and Burns had confided in each other as trusted faithful earlier in the series.
The 42-year-old was a faithful on the show, which involves players attempting to win a charity prize by identifying a small group of secretly assigned traitors before they are banished from the game or "murdered".
"We (Beaumont and Burns) were becoming really good friends, and I totally trusted her, yeah, when she said she wasn't, because it was like, right, at least we've got each other," she said.
"I still can't believe it. It was so well played. I think she'll win, because there's always someone you'd incriminate before her."
The Celebrity Traitors continues on Thursday at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
Lucy Beaumont reveals who she thinks will win The Celebrity Traitors
The first player to be "murdered" face-to-face on the Celebrity Traitors has said it was "thrilling", as she revealed who she thinks will win the competition.
Comedian Lucy Beaumont gasped when she saw who the traitors were on Wednesday night's episode of the hit BBC One show.
She was one of three fellow faithful who had been earmarked for murder by being invited to meet host Claudia Winkleman at a giant chessboard in the dead of night.
Beaumont, from Hull, was selected by the traitors - comedian Alan Carr, TV presenter Jonathan Ross and singer Cat Burns - who usually get to kill in secret.
Speaking on The Traitors: Uncloaked, Beaumont said: "God, it was such a shock. I mean, it was quite thrilling, but it was really eerie when they've got the cloaks.
"It's those cloaks, yeah, when they took them off, because I think I saw Alan's first and was so surprised, and then Jonathan, and then Cat, and I was so...I was, genuinely felt betrayed by Cat."
Jonathan Ross battled secret eye condition while filming that left him blind
The Celebrity Traitors star revealed on Uncloaked that he was left blind in one eye on a number of occasions while filming the show.
Speaking to host Ed Gamble, he said: "I genuinely don't like having things in my eye. I've got a slight eye condition. I went blind in my right eye a couple of times and it will happen again probably. It's only temporary but it's not very nice. That's why I was wearing sunglasses a lot when I was out there because I shouldn't really be out in bright lights for too long."
He added that when wearing a blindfold at the start of the show, he was worried that his eyes wouldn't be working properly afterwards. "When that came off, it was like, 'Great - my eyes are still working.' I saw people online saying, 'He really overdid taking off that blindfold, that makes him a Traitor.' I go blind in my right eye!"
Jonathan Ross claims he threw Traitors under the bus to save them
According to Jonathan Ross, he threw Cat Burns and Alan Carr under the bus and suggested them as Traitors in order to save them from banishment.
The sneaky man admitted he knew he was headed home and said he thought people would start to question his fellow Traitors if he'd never mentioned them, so he pushed them as Traitors as a double bluff.
Who is the smartest Traitor?
According to Jonathan Ross, the "smartest" Traitor was Cat Burns. He put himself next, snidely adding that it's "not saying much" to be smarter than Alan.
Jonathan Ross brands Faithfuls as 'idiots' in dramatic exit
After being the first Traitor banished from the show, Jonathan Ross shared his displeasure with the Faithfuls. The group has already been dubbed the "worst faithfuls ever" by Joe Wilkinson but Wossy has now added "idiots" to that.
He admitted to being frustrated with the Faithfuls for how long it took them to find a Traitor and said he felt he would have made a better Faithful.
Jonathan Ross said he "actually felt quite happy" killing Lucy Beaumont
Jonathan revealed that when the Traitors killed off Lucy, he was initially happy, but it was also that experience that made him fall out of love with murder.
"I actually felt quite happy with killing Lucy," he shared. Jonathan then revealed that he thought she would find it funny because they knew each other from home. But then she was sad, and it made him feel horrible about the situation.
He added that he fell out of love with being a Traitor and murdering every night, and that the fight went out of him. "I felt thoroughly disgusted with myself"
Jonathan Ross knew he'd be the first Traitor to go home
On Uncloaked, Jonathan Ross revealed that he was sure he would be the first of the three Traitors to go out, even though Alan isn't very discreet.
He shared that he struggled more than Alan and Cat to focus on being a Traitor and not overthink it. He said that Cat was good at "compartmentalising" and that Alan was "consistently Alan" and therefore was suspected.
Later, he added that he got "frustrated" with the faithfuls for not picking up on who was a traitor and thought he would have made a better faithful than the other celebs.
A murder in plain sight...
The Traitors can't rest easy, as they have to murder in plain sight and dinner. Only Alan and Cat are left and they were told they would need to toast the person they want to murder and say the words: "Parting is such sweet sorrow".
Cat and Alan decided he would be the one to do the toasting, and he asked the camera: "Why is it always me?"
But who have they murdered? We'll have to wait until the next episode to find out...
And they've got one! A Traitor finally exits the game
It's taken seven episodes and a lot of false starts but tonight the Faithful finally evicted the first baddie from the Celebrity Traitors
Jonathan Ross was banished at tonight's episode, after his name was raised by fellow traitor Cat Burns. All bar two people voted for Wossy to leave.
And, despite being one of the most successful Traitors of all time, as he exited the game Wossy admitted that he’d found it “more intense and much trickier” than he’d anticipated - and actually wished he’d been a Faithful.
“I thought I'd be happy to be a Traitor, but I actually found it really hard just lying to people - that is what makes it such compelling viewing,” he explained. “Around the second day I began to think ‘oh, I really wish I'd said I'd like to be a Faithful’.”
His exit speech at the end of the roundtable drew gasps from the other players as he pretended to be yet another Faithful. Delivering what Joe Marler called “the most ridiculous bow-out ever” Jonathan said: “I’ve got no idea what everyone’s doing wrong. I can’t believe you’ve done it again. I can’t believe that I’m standing here for no good reason I don’t want to be rude but - you’re idiots! I’m not judging, because it’s fiendish - I’m not blaming the players, I’m blaming the game.
“I am now, and have been all through the game, completely Faithful,” he insisted, as heads went into hands around the table, before he added: “To the Traitors!”
The roundtable begins...
The roundtable is getting underway and the names mentioned throughout the day have been: Kate Garraway, Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns and Alan Carr
With all three traitors mentioned, is this finally the time when the faithfuls will catch one of their midnight murderers?
Jonathan Ross dobs in Alan Carr again - and in front of Cat
While eating dinner, Jonathan Ross suggested Alan as a traitor in front of a group of people, including Joe Marler, Kate Garraway and fellow traitor Cat Burns.
As Jonathan continued to push Alan as a theory, Cat looked on with a deep frown on her face, as she watched her co-conspirator start to turn on them.
"The gloves are off" warns Alan
In the car ride back, Alan and Cat seemed very worried about the future of their traitors clan. Sad they can no longer murder Joe Marler, the pair seemed sure the rugby player would go for Jonathan at the roundtable and then Alan at the next.
Cat agreed that the chances of all three of them getting to the final was slim and people are going to start "looking at people they've never looked at before".
Alan ended the conversation with a warning that "the gloves are off".
Joe Marler is safe from murder... but is he safe from banishment?
Joe Marler has bagged a shield and is safe from murder, but that doesn't save him from banishment.
Unbeknownst to him, Alan spent the car ride to the mission trying to convince Cat that she should vote for rugby star Joe. He promised both he and Jonathan would also vote for Joe, and with so few people left, three votes might be enough to send him home.
"Joe has got to go," said the chatty man. Will Joe make it past tongiht's banishment, or will Jonathan's shock betrayal of his fellow traitors send someone else home?
Jonathan Ross throws his fellow Traitors under the bus
Whilst discussing the roundtable, Celia Imrie told Jonathan that she might vote for him, and said: "You know I’m dazzled by you but I don’t want you then to think I’m trouble and kill me."
Maybe Jonathan was trying to get the heat off his back and got a little desperate, because he then suggested not just one of his fellow traitors but BOTH as suspects.
He told Celia and Joe Marler that Alan Carr and Cat Burns have both gone under the radar, starting to sew the seeds so that they could be sent home.
Fans were not happy and one wrote: "DID JONATHAN JUST SNAKE ALAN AND CAT?" While another wrote that it was "awful, outstanding gameplay".
Lucy Beaumont is murdered!
Comedian Lucy Beaumont was revealed as the latest murder victim. It was between her and Kate Garraway, leading the remaining faithfuls to suspect the GMB host of being a traitor.
"Oh my God, I hope you feel terrible about yourselves," Lucy said. She tells Cat - her friend - "I’m not happy with you at all," but then admits "you’ve played this really, really well"
Reflecting on what happened, Lucy added: "There was an element of real shock and feeling betrayed and also relief at finally knowing who they are."
Cat said she "felt bad" for murdering Lucy. "But it had to be done."
Nick Mohammed is safe!
The show started off with good news for Ted Lasso fans! Nick Mohammed is safe for another day!
Tom Daley reveals all about the 'crazy' Celebrity Traitors WhatsApp group
Olympic diver Tom Daley has lifted the lid on what really goes on inside The Celebrity Traitors cast's lively WhatsApp group.
During his Wednesday morning appearance on This Morning with hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, the 31-year-old revealed that the chat is far from quiet, especially thanks to one of his co-stars.
Tom said: “It's crazy. And I'm like, oh my gosh, I can't keep up with this. Tameka [Empson] sends the most amazing voice notes as well. They're like two and a half minutes long.”
When is Celebrity Traitors on and who is still in the game?
Grab your cloaks and head to the turret, the Celebrity Traitors are back!
The show resumes at 9pm on BBC One, and no Traitors have been banished yet, leaving Cat Burns, Jonathan Ross and Alan Carr still in the game.
The last episode saw Joe Wilkinson murdered and 'top dog' Stephen Fry banished. As he left, Joe Wilkinson said they were the "worst faithfuls ever". The faithfuls left are Celia Imrie, David Olusoga, Joe Marler, Kate Garraway, Lucy Beaumont and Nick Mohammed.
Jonathan Ross lets slip moment that was cut from Celebrity Traitors
Jonathan Ross revealed this week on his podcast that he actually let slip he was a Traitor in a moment that was cut from the final edit.
"On the Uncloaked episode where she sees it’s my name, she goes ‘oh I was going to go for him last night’ – because I’d actually said something to her the night before which I think made her think it was me," he said.
"And that wasn’t in the show because it didn’t lead to the roundtable but I think she was fairly confident it was me."
