Strictly Come Dancing fans were left furious after a spoiler leaked online and revealed the most shocking dance off of the series so far.
Fans could not believe who wound up in the final two and were further devastated by which couple the judges sent packing.
It was Icon's Week on the BBC dance show which saw some huge transformations including Emmerdale's Lewis Cope dressed as Johnny Cash to perform a country inspired quickstep. While actress Alex Kingston became country legend Dolly Parton and EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal performed as Beyoncé.
The results will air on Sunday night - however, fans will be aware that it's actually filmed shortly after Saturday's live show, and therefore, results often leak online on Saturday night.
At the end of Saturday's show, it was revealed that Anton Du Beke would have the deciding vote when it came to deciding who would survive the dreaded dance off. While the Mirror have decided not to leak the spoiler, fans have already been reacting online to the leaked elimination news.
One said: "Scores all over the place tonight!" A second added: "Biggest shock of series so far." Devastated, another fan wrote: "Nooooooooo!" and left with it a broken-hearted emoji, whilst another fumed: "Why is it always my faves in the dance off?" Another was not impressed with the bottom two to begin with, claiming that it all 'smells of a fix' in the first place.
The shock dance off came after a night of high drama on the dance show - with plenty of surprises. Girls Aloud star Cheryl made an appearance via video message to congratulate her fellow Geordie lass Vicky Pattison on her performance that was set to her track Fight For This Love. It was a rare TV appearance for Cheryl, who has notably taken time out of the spotlight following her days as a superstar judge on X Factor and pop singer in her own right.
Cheryl said: "First of all I wanted to say congratulations on your success so far, I'm honoured and humbled to be your chosen icon for this week. I know you've got it in you because you're a Geordie, so go out there and fight for your place!"
Lewis and Katya topped the leader board with their score of 34, whilst Vicky and Kai Widdrington were in joint second with musical theatre star Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin each scoring 33.
Last week, when asked by Tess about his time on the show, Chris admitted: "I’ve loved it. I’ve had an amazing partner. For me, coming onto this journey, I had no confidence. To be told I had world class qualities on the dancefloor today, even though we have to go home, that’s amazing to hear so thank you very much. It’s given me such confidence."
Chris then added, "To my partner Nadiya, I’m sorry. But it’s been an amazing journey, she’s been a brilliant teacher, I’ve developed so much, and it’s been a great ride - so thank you."
Meanwhile, Nadiya praised the star, admitting, "I saw all the qualities that made you the captain of your country. To watch you [go] from a non-dancer and non-performer [to then] blossom, improve and develop. Sometimes on this show you win by getting a glitterball, but I feel this year I won just getting you as my partner."
If Shirley still had the deciding vote power, the EastEnders star would have become the next contestant to leave the show at that time.
