England and Spain will face off in a major international final for the second time in two years, with the Lionesses aiming to exact revenge on the Spaniards for the World Cup final in 2023. A victory would see the Lionesses retain their Euros trophy, something that only one other team has achieved in the tournament's history.
However, a win for Spain would create history as they would become the holders of the World Cup, Nations League and European Championship at the same time. Sarina Wiegman's side looked all but out on Tuesday night as semi-finalists Italy held a 1-0 lead all the way to the 95th minute of the game.
But it was teenage sensation Michelle Agyemang who turned hero once again for the Lionesses, finding the net in the dying seconds of the game to send it to extra time. It looked like a shootout would be needed, but a drag on Beth Mead from Emma Severini prompted the referee to point to the spot just 60 seconds before the 120th minute.
Chloe Kelly stepped up with her trademark dangling leg and despite the original strike being saved by Laura Giuliani, the 27-year-old smashed home the rebound to send England to their third consecutive final under Wiegman.
It looked like a similar story was about to be etched between other semi-finalists Spain and Germany, as inspired performances from goalkeepers Ann-Katrin Berger and Cata Coll saw the game end 0-0 and continue for another 30 minutes. Penalties were begging, and the Germans looked to be the more excited of the bunch with their plethora of chances and towering figure between the sticks.
But Ballon d'Or winners do as they please, and two-time winner Aitana Bonmati showed exactly why she was voted the best in the game. A swerving finish in the 113th minute sent Spain on their way to face a familiar foe in the Lionesses, in what will be their first Euros final in their history - with their best finish being the semi-finals in 1997.
So, how do you tune into what is promising to be an electrifying battle between two of the best women's teams in Europe? Mirror Football has all the latest on when the match is kicking off, how you can watch it and the latest team news.
When is kick-off for England vs Spain?

How can I watch England vs Spain?
In the UK, the final will be broadcast on both ITV1 and BBC One, with coverage beginning at 3:30pm and 4pm, respectively. Fans can also stream the game for free on ITVX or BBC iPlayer.
For those who are unable to tune in visually, BBC Radio 5 Live, 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sounds will offer live commentary of the match. Highlights will also be available post-game via the BBC Sport website and BBC iPlayer.
What's the England team news?
England fans are facing a sweat on the availability of Lauren James, who limped off with some ankle discomfort at half-time versus Italy. The Chelsea forward is doubtful for the final, as Wiegman confirmed: "She hurt her ankle. I haven’t seen her yet so I don’t what it looks like over the next couple of days, but we had to take her off."
It remains to be seen if James has recovered in time to feature in the important match, either as a starter or from the substitutes bench. However, the Lionesses have a plethora of talent to replace the missing attacker, with new hero Agyemang certainly giving Wiegman a headache when it comes to team selection.
The 19-year-old has scored twice off the bench in the Euros, both at crucial points in knockout matches. Her first goal came in the 81st minute in the quarter-final against Sweden to tie up the game and send it to extra-time - similar to her 96th-minute equaliser against Italy in the semi.
The Arsenal star has certainly proven her worth, so it will be interesting to see if Wiegman continues to use her as an impact player or puts her in from the start. Chloe Kelly is another interesting player for the boss to consider, as her goal against Italy and assist against Sweden show she is built of the same mental fortitude as Agyemang.
Regarding the rest of the team, Wiegman looks to have a full compliment of stars to choose from, with Esme Morgan getting the nod ahead of Jess Carter in the Italy match. It is unclear whether the manager will continue with her pattern of playing a mixture of experience and young, raw talent, or switch things altogether against Spain, but she has certainly put thoughts in fans minds with her recent pre-match words.
Lauding praise onto her two impact subs, Wiegman said: "Chloe thrives in these moments. She is excited about it and you can tell. Michelle – what a talent. When she hit the crossbar [in extra time] was a very good action too.
"We never give up. We say we can win by any means. Against Sweden, with the penalty shoot-out, we were a bit lucky that they missed. Tonight we were going for that goal but it gave us something, too. This team just keeps going."
What has Sarina Wiegman said?
England manager Wiegman is feeling plenty of luck heading into her fifth consecutive final - and England's third - on Sunday: "It feels a bit surreal making the final again. We’re here, and we’re going to do the final so we need to recover a bit [physically, emotionally, mentally].
"I’m the lucky one to work with so many good people, good players, good staff, good support from the Federation: the FA this time, and the Dutch FA before that. I think it’s so special to play a final. I actually can’t believe it myself."
Spain hero Aitana Bonmati, meanwhile, dreams of making history on Sunday: "It was our dream to get to the final. We work every day for these kind of moments. We've never made it to the Euro final, but today we made history again. We'll try to make more history on Sunday."
