Blood-covered men armed with chainsaws terrorise beachgoers and shout 'you're f****d'

Dramatic footage shows the pair approach a group of people on a beach in Canada while revving chainsaws and repeatedly swearing at them to 'settle a score'

Two men armed with chainsaws terrorised beachgoers by charging at them while screaming "you're f****d".

Terrifying footage shows the pair revving their chainsaws while swearing and approaching a group of people at Cherry Beach, Toronto, Canada.

Over the noise of the chainsaws, one of them screams: "You're f***ed."

They then both advance towards the person filming, with one of them shouting: "Who the f*** hit me?"

Both men appear to be bleeding and police later said they had been involved in an earlier fight and came back looking to even the score.

"It is alleged that two men involved in the original altercation suffered injuries," Toronto Police told CityNews in a statement.

They added: "They then left and returned with weapons."

Members of anti-lockdown group MAD (Mothers Against Distancing) alleged that the two men sliced through roughly $4,000 (£2,314) worth of DJ equipment with the chainsaws, local news website blogTO reports.

Other witnesses to the carnage shared their experiences on Twitter.

A woman wrote: "Encountered two men bleeding, carrying running chainsaws on my morning ride on the trail leading to Cherry Beach from Tommy Thompson.

"Let me repeat: RUNNING CHAINSAWS.

"Face to face with them in the middle of the trail... SCARY AF out of a fucking movie... WTF Toronto."

A second person tweeted that "two guys with chainsaws covered in blood" were "charging people" at the beach.

Police said the two men are facing charges, but will not name them to protect the current investigation, City TV reports.

Toronto mayor John Tory noted that there has been a surge in large gatherings at Cherry Beach despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and social distancing rules.

He said: "We will redouble our efforts to monitor those.

"We want to, on one hand, make sure that people are kept safe and that these kinds of scary incidents don’t happen but on the other hand, that people are allowed to live their lives and to enjoy themselves without an oppressive, enforcement presence.

"Clearly an incident like this would cause us to want to keep a careful eye on both these gatherings themselves because the gatherings, beyond certain numbers and at certain times, are regulated at this moment in time and also ones that scare or otherwise disturb people, we want to keep an eye on as well."
