Woman arrested over flight attendant's 'murder' after 'butt dial' confession
Joni Thomas, 62, stands accused of tampering with evidence as part of the disappearance of flight attendant Rana Nofal Soluri after she went missing in June
A woman has been arrested after a "butt dial" exposed her alleged role in the disposal of a dead body.
In the audio clip, Joni Thomas, 62, could be heard discussing how to get rid of the body of a murder victim. Police added that some of what they heard sounded like the suspects moving a heavy object.
The 62-year-old has been accused of interfering with evidence related to the disappearance of a flight attendant, Rana Nofal Soluri, who went missing in June.

Thomas, from Texas, is accused of using her pickup truck to help Dennis William Day, 66, the alleged killer.
Cops believe Thomas used the truck after Day killed the woman before dumping her body off a bridge in Bowie, Texas.
Prosecutors have produced a key voicemail discovered on Thomas' phone, which they believe was recorded while the disposal was happening.
In the call, a panicked male can be heard saying, "Hey, help me", and "I'm sorry I got you messed up in this", according to the Daily Mail.
Rana was Day's roommate at the time she disappeared. He has been charged with murder after confessing to strangling her in the home they shared in Fort Worth.
At the time of the supposed killing, Rana was on leave from her role at Envoy Air, part of American Airlines, for minor surgery.
To this day, no trace of her body has yet been found.
However, Day has allegedly confessed to the crime, saying the pair got into a fight after she filmed him being angry. After threatening to call the police, he said he snapped and strangled her until she died, reports say.
Police believe Day, with the help of Thomas, then dumped the body and Rana's phone into the river. He also allegedly dumped a gun in a storm drain on a major highway, which police later found.
When he was first questioned by officers, Day claimed he had not seen his roommate for months - claiming that she'd left her car and possessions at the home, and that he was arranging for them to be taken in to storage.
In the face of mounting evidence, he eventually confessed to being her killer.
Thomas denied any knowledge of what Day had done, but the "butt dial" found on her phone linked her to the disposal of Rana's remains. Investigators claimed the audio sounded as though the pair were struggling to move a large object — possibly Rana's body.
Day currently remains in prison while investigations get underway; his bail currently stands at $200,000. Thomas was arrested last month for her role in the crime, but has been released after a bond for her was paid.
Meanwhile, authorities have said they are not looking for any other suspects in relation to the case. However, the search for Rana's body continues, leaving the investigation open for the time being.
