Corrie faves Jack and Vera Duckworth are returning to our screens – as GHOSTS.
The pair will come back from the dead for a Children In Need special.
Actor Bill Tarmey, 71, who played Jack Duckworth for 31 years, will be making his first TV appearance since the character was killed off two years ago.
He will play the Ghost of Christmas Past in the BBC spoof.
And Liz Dawn, 72, who played Jack’s wife Vera for 25 years before quitting in 2008, is expected to play a phantom.
But it will depend on her health, as she has emphysema.
She has already played a ghost – that of Vera in the episode Jack died.
A TV source said: “Getting Bill Tarmey ‘back from the dead’ is a stroke of genius.”
