Meghan Markle posts family video with Archie and Lilibet as Harry carves pumpkins

Meghan Markle shared moments from the family’s outing at a pumpkin patch ahead of Halloween on Friday

Meghan Markle gave fans a peek at the Sussexes' pre-Halloween outing, with Prince Harry carving a pumpkin and the children frolicking through a pumpkin patch.

A video shared on the Duchess of Sussex’s Instagram features short clips and photos of the family of four at the patch, captioned "Happy Sunday" and set to the classic hit California Dreamin' by The Mamas & the Papas.

The video opens with rows of pumpkins scattered across the farm grounds and a scarecrow before showing six-year-old Archie running along a pumpkin-lined path. Three-year-old Lilibet is seen sitting in a cart among large pumpkins, pulled by her mum, and later picking out smaller ones from a festive barrel.

One tender moment shows Harry and Meghan holding hands with their backs to the camera as Archie runs ahead along the path.

Meghan also posted a sped-up clip to her Instagram story showing Harry carefully carving a pumpkin with a marker and cutter, finishing with a smiling jack-o’-lantern.

In keeping with her previous posts, Meghan has kept the children’s faces out of view to protect their privacy.

It comes after Prince Harry's team issued a statement to the Mirror amid rumours that the Sussexes were considering sending Archie to Eton College, one of the UK's most expensive boarding schools. "I can confirm that Prince Harry has not registered Archie for Eton, and the Duke has no plans to send his son to Eton," a spokesperson told the Mirror.
