Virginia Giuffre's family said she "declares a victory" adding the main Andrew accuser "brought down a British prince", following the bombshell news his will have all his royal titles stripped.
In a statement to the BBC, her family said: "Today, an ordinary American girl from an ordinary American family, brought down a British prince with her truth and extraordinary courage," say her brother Skye Roberts and sister-in-law Amanda.
"Virginia Roberts Giuffre, our sister, a child when she was sexually assaulted by Andrew, never stopped fighting for accountability for what had happened to her and to countless other survivors like her.
"Today, she declares victory. We, her family, along with her survivor sisters, continue Virginia's battle and will not rest until the same accountability applies to all of the abusers and abettors connected to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell."
Pressure has mounted following more questions into the relationship between Andrew and the convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew has consistently denied all allegations against him.
A lawyer for Virginia Giuffre during her civil sex assault case against Prince Andrew, Sigrid McCawley, said the King stripping Andrew's titles was a "tipping point".
She said: "The voice of Virginia Giuffre has changed history. Her bravery, determination and resilient spirit has led to this defining moment. As we account for the tipping point significance of the King stripping the title "Prince" from his brother Andrew, it should be a lesson for all to listen, hear and believe survivors of abuse."
This evening, Buckingham Palace revealed the King started the formal process of removing all royal titles and honours from Andrew - including 'prince'.
The ex-duke will also be forced to move out of the 30-room Royal Lodge, which he shared with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson. This followed anger over the "peppercorn" rent for the Windsor mansion, where he paid barely anything for the 20 years he lived at the property.
It is believed Andrew will move to a home on the private Sandringham Estate, in Norfolk, after the Palace considers that there have been "serious lapses of judgment". This move will be privately funded by King Charles.

In a bombshell announcement, Buckingham Palace said: "His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.
"Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.
"Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse."
