Kaelin Bradshaw dead: TikTok star's husband fights back tears in emotional video
Holding back the tears her husband took to TikTok to share a statement in which he explained "she promised me and our family she was going to fight and never give up"
A TikTok star who shared her battle with a rare form of bile duct cancer with her followers has died less than a year after her diagnosis.
Kaelin Bradshaw, a Florida-based influencer, passed away on Monday October 27 surrounded by her loved ones, her husband Austin confirmed on Wednesday. Posting an emotional three-and-a-half minute long video on his TikTok account he said she was in no pain and was holding his hand when she took her last breaths.
Holding back the tears he said: " From the moment Kaelin was diagnosed she was devastated but also determined, she promised me and our family she was going to fight and never give up, she fulfilled her promise but unfortunately the disease progressed beyond her body's ability to keep fighting."

He added: "she was not alone nor was she ever alone throughout this entire journey." Addressing her 99,000 followers he added: "she had all of you and I can't thank you guys enough for all the love and support you provided us; emotionally, spiritually and financially."
Her followers flooded the comments section to share their support and condolences to Austin, one wrote: "This was so beautiful Austin. She’s with you every step of the way, I’m so sorry for your loss. So grateful to have known her and the amazing soul she was." Another wrote: "Kae was an absolute light to our community and to so many others. We are deeply sorry for your loss and are here for you."
According to a GoFundMe page she created earlier this month, she explained she was diagnosed with stage 4 cholangiocarinoma less than a year ago.
According to the NHS website Cholangiocarinoma, or bile duct cancer, is a rare type of cancer that forms in the bile ducts that carry the digestive fluid bile between the liver to the gallbladder and to the small intestine. While anyone can get bile duct cancer it occurs mostly in people older than age 65.
Kaelin's final post was on October 16, and in the TikTok video, she directed viewers to go to her GoFundMe page. She explained that she set up the page to ease the financial burden on her and her husband 'with whatever the future brings.'
The caption read: "He's stayed with me every single night I've been in the hospital and somehow managed to juggle two jobs on top of that. He even sold his truck and boat just to help ease the financial pressure on both of us. I really want to take some of that stress off his shoulders so he can focus on just being here with me.
"We're also hoping to take a trip together as soon as I get the green light to start my next treatment, and we'd love to be financially ready when that time comes."
