Shoppers are searching stores for the 'adorable' merchandise that fans have been 'waiting for'
Home Bargains shoppers are running to stores for the retailer's new Gilmore Girls merch. For weeks now, fans of the 2000s TV show have been scouring stores for the new range, which includes a themed candle, diffuser, throw, and mug.
TV lovers went wild for the 'perfect' range when the discount store teased fans with a sneak peek of the merchandise back in July. Those who 'need' the adorable range counted down the days until the release. Now, the merchandise is hitting shelves, and shoppers couldn't be more excited.
One customer who was thrilled to find the range in her local store celebrated her success on TikTok. Posting as @coralormstonx, Coral wrote: "Gilmore Girls x Home Bargains success!" Her caption explained: "The throw and candle had been spotted!!"
The post proved to be very popular, gaining over 65,000 views and 6,500 likes in under 24 hours. Some viewers who have yet to find the merch couldn't believe their eyes.
One fan commented: "Nothing in ours. So upset." A similar comment read: "Wish mine had the stock we’ve got nothing Gilmore girls in." Another response said: "All we got was the candles no throws."
A commenter added: "You lucky lady!" while a viewer said: "Stoppppp!! been WAITING for them to come in." Someone asked: "I'm so sad! what store was this?" Coral replied: "Portsmouth!" and a fan said she'd be 'running' there.
Others pointed out that some of the merch is available on Home Bargains' website. Someone shared: "The throw and candle are both available to buy on their website now, just ordered mine." Another fan revealed: "Just ordered 2 blankets & 2 candles online! Finally! I AM AN AUTUMN."
At the time of writing, the £2.99 Gilmore Girls Scented Candle, the £12.99 Gilmore Girls Fluffy Throw, and the £1.99 Gilmore Girls Scented Diffuser 100ml are all available online. The double-wick candle has a sweet pumpkin latte scent.
