Ben & Jerry’s have launched their first ice cream on a stick and it has a cookie dough centre

The new frozen treat comprises vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips and a cookie-dough-inspired centre

Ben & Jerry's fans, get excited. The ice cream kings have launched their first-ever ice cream on a stick: the Peace Pop.

Available from mid-January, the tempting new treat is made up of Fairtrade vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips and a cookie dough inspired centre.

It is then coated in smooth chocolate and popped on a stick for hungry customers to enjoy on the go. We don't know about you, but we think the Peace Pops sound like the perfect lockdown treat.

And as it's on a stick, you won't need to worry about grabbing a bowl and spoon before you tuck in.

Ben & Jerry's new ice creams will be hitting shelves at Co-op stores later this month, so keep your eyes peeled! They'll be priced at £2.20 each or £4 for a pack of three.

Flavour guru Josine Nohlmans said: “We know people love our cookie dough like their own family or pets.

So we reimagined it so they never need to leave home without it. Now they can walk their puppy AND enjoy Ben & Jerry’s."

In other food news, McVities has launched passion fruit flavour Jaffa Cakes and they sound delicious.

And Burger King has launched a new vegan bean burger in time for Veganuary.

The fast food chain's latest addition is a plant-based version of the Veggie Bean Burger, making it suitable for vegans. It's available from January 11th and will cost "around £4.59 on its own and around £5.59 with a drink."

Feeling lucky? Cadbury has hidden 200 GOLD Creme Eggs in shops across the UK - and customers could win £5,000 if they find one.
